Fun Things to Do in Oregon, USA
Oregon is located in the Pacific Northwest region of the USA. It is bordered on the west by the Pacific Ocean, on the north by Washington, on the south by California, and the east by Idaho. Oregon is known for its natural beauty and its many outdoor activities. There are endless things to do in Oregon, no matter your interests, so we will discuss some of our favorite fun things to do in this fantastic state.
Gun Range
When you go and visit Oregon, one thing you should definitely try out is the gun range. Oregon has a lot of land and rich history with firearms, and you’ll get to know some of the oregonbased 350m 3.75b firearms that pack a lot of stopping power. If you are coming to the state with your pals and buddies, then going to a shooting range is definitely the way to go. Remember that it’s good to let loose once in a while and knock off some cans using some guns.
Breweries
Oregon is also home to many award-winning breweries, such as Deschutes Brewery, Rogue Ales, and Full Sail Brewing Company. If you’re a fan of craft beer, then you’ll love all the different options that Oregon has to offer. There are also many beer festivals throughout the year, so you can try out a variety of different beers while in Oregon. Remember that there’s nothing more satisfying than a cold, refreshing Oregon beer after a long day of exploring everything the state has to offer.
Hiking
Oregon is a hikers’ paradise; with miles and miles of its incredible hiking trails waiting to be explored, you can challenge yourself for an adventure of a lifetime. One of our favorite hikes in the state is the hike to Mirror Lake, Columbia River Gorge, and Mount Hood. The trailhead can be found near the town of Hood River, and it’s a moderate hike that will take you around four hours to complete. The views along the way are absolutely breathtaking, and you’ll be able to see Mount Hood in all its glory when you reach the summit.
Camping
Oregon is also home to some of the most beautiful camping spots in the country. One of our favorites is the Lost Lake Campground, located in the Willamette National Forest. The campground has over 100 campsites, and it’s a perfect spot for fishing, swimming, and hiking. There are also many other great camping spots throughout Oregon, so be sure to do some research before your trip and find the perfect spot for you and your friends.
